A tiny lit world at the edge of your screen
Screen Nook is a tiny Japanese street that lives in a strip beside your work. Dock it to the left or right and your windows make room for it, then get back to your essay, your revision or your inbox. Whenever you look up, it’s there.
It keeps your hours
The light follows your own clock. Morning sun catches the rooftops, the shops light up as the evening comes in, and the lanterns keep burning long after dark. Leave it running and you’ll catch the day turning over beside you.
Weather drifts in and out
Some days stay clear. Some pass under slow cloud. When the rain comes, the street turns dark and glossy and every lantern shows up twice in the wet stone.
It’s really there
This isn’t a looping video. Petals drift down through the lamplight and moths find their way to the lanterns. A cat keeps an eye on the street, and after dark a neighbour steps out onto her balcony. Bring your cursor close and the street shifts, the focus sliding along the lane.
Nothing to manage
There are no goals, and nothing to unlock or keep alive. It just makes that corner of your screen a nicer place to be.
